Ich beschäftige mich seit langem mit der Frage, was ein Fotomotiv ist und was nicht. Wie können manche Leute alle Dinge auf der Welt ohne intensives Nachdenken in Motive und Nicht-Motive einteilen? Für mich sind die Nicht-Motive meistens interessanter. Man würde üblicherweise versuchen, von einer Stelle mit einen ungehinderten Blick auf ein Objekt zu fotografieren. Da ich im Gegensatz dazu versucht habe, das Objekt hinter einem Sichthindernis zu platzieren, wird die Szenerie damit zu einem Nicht-Motiv.

For a long time I am dealing with the question what is a motif for photography and what is not? Some people are able to classify, without intensively reflecting on it, all things in the world under motifs and non-motifs. For me, the non-motifs are mostly more interesting. You would usually try to make a picture from a spot with an unspoiled view to the object. In opposition to that, I tried to place the object behind an obstacle in the field of sight, so the scenery becomes a non-motif.
