Viele “Wie fotografiere ich besser“-Bücher sagen dir: Beim Fotografieren am Ort bist du wirklich dort und dir darüber voll bewußt. Du hast alle Aussichten rundherum, die Geräusche und die Gerüche. Der Zeitablauf bringt dauernd neue Interaktionen hervor. Aber beim Ansehen deiner Bilder zuhause hast du nur einige kleine, rechteckige Stücke Papier und bist vielleicht enttäuscht. So war die Idee von “Frame Tour“, einen zusätzlichen Rahmen im Bild zu benützen, um die Begrenzung der Fotografie nochmal sichtbar zu machen, die nur einen kleinen Ausschnitt aus einer größeren weggeschnittenen Situation wiedergibt. Der Rahmen ist 60 x 45 cm.

Many “How to photograph better“ books are telling you: When photographing on location, you really are there and you are totally aware of this. You have all the sights around, the sounds and the smells. The lapse of time permanently creates new interactions. But looking at your pictures at home, you just have some small, rectangular pieces of paper and may be disappointed. So the idea of “Frame Tour“ was to use an additional frame within the pictures to visualize once more the limitation of photography picking a small cutout of a greater cutoff situation. The frame is 60 x 45 cm.
