In meinem Land ist es üblich, Steine aus dem Gebirge zu entführen und in Vorstädten zu platzieren um Grenzen abzustecken und Autos vom Rasen fernzuhalten. Einige erscheinen als einfallslose Dekoration, andere um nachdrückliche Zeichen von Anspruch und Besitzung zu setzen.

All over the world there are strange habits. In my country it is usual to carry off rocks from the mountains and place them in suburban areas to fix territorial limits and keep cars away from the lawn. Some appear as simple-minded decoration, others as vigorous signs of claim and occupation.
